We had a tough loss last night as we were about 30 seconds away from making a small profit. The Flames were up 3-1 and added an empty netter with 30 seconds left to push that under. Colorado won 5-3 in our other under game to give us a losing night.

Monday’s play below…

2 UNIT = Winnipeg Jets @ Buffalo Sabres – JETS TO WIN (-113)
(Note: I’m risking 2.00 units to win 1.77 units)

The Winnipeg Jets sit in 9th place in the Eastern Conference three points behind the New York Rangers.  They will probably need to win out to get to 55 points and hope that New York or Washington goes 1-2 in their last three games, or either the Senators or Islanders collapse. The division leading Capitals are 3 points up on Winnipeg, but the two teams meet on Tuesday.  A win tonight would give the Jets a chance to pass Washington with a regulation win on Tuesday night.  The Sabres are out of the playoffs sitting in 11th currently.  Buffalo last played on Friday losing 8-4 at home vs the Rangers.  The Jets lost 5-4 in shootout Saturday, but have won 5 of their last 6 games and gotten points in all 6. These two teams have met twice this season with Winnipeg winning 2-1 in Buffalo and then 4-1 at home on April 9th.  The Jets have actually won 5 straight meetings with Buffalo.  The Sabres are resting Ryan Miller and go with Honas Enroth tonight who is 4-3-1 with a 2.66 GAA and .915 SV%.  Ondrej Pavelev is likely in net for Winnipeg and he is 20-18-3 with a 2.78 GAA and .905 SV%.  This one comes down to motivation and who has been playing better hockey.  Although Buffalo would like to spoil the Jets playoff hopes, I think they are too much to handle for the Sabres tonight. I’m on the Jets with a good line.
