A Game of the Month 5 unit winner last night.  The Sharks scored 2 3rd period goals including a late one to win in regulation as our regulation play (-140) cashes. Things have been going our way with the big plays lately, which is a change form the start of the season – and we hope we can keep it going and continue the run to try and get back some units lost.

Tonight I’ve got one play going as we bet against Calgary again tonight…

2 UNIT = Calgary Flames @ Vancouver Canucks – CANUCKS -1.5 [Puck Line] (+112)
(Note: I’m risking 2.00 units to win 2.24 units)

The Flames loss last night dropped them to 13-19-4 and just 3-12-2 on the road this year.  The Canucks are 20-11-6 on the season and a solid 11-5-3 at home.  Calgary has lost 4 straight now, scoring just 4 goals over their last 3 games and giving up 14 over that span.  The Canucks lost two straight on the road before winning 4-0 at home vs Edmonton on Thursday. The Canucks are now 7-2 in their last 9 games overall.  These two teams have met 3 times this season with Vancouver going 2-1 and winning one of those by 2 goals.  The Canucks have yet to play Calgary since they traded away some key components of their team, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Canucks easily take care of the Flames tonight.  Vancouver has won 12 of their last 17 meetings with Calgary and are 5-1 in their last 6 meetings in Vancouver.  The Canucks are just 2 points ahead of Minnesota in the Northwest and every game is a big one.  Expect the Canucks to come out with a lot of energy here on Saturday night in Vancouver and beat the Flames who are on a back to back.

Just a note that I haven’t update the record on the site for a while, and that will be done when I get back from Florida on Tuesday.
