Blackhawks vs Wings Pick Game 3

In game that went to double OT we saw 98 shots on net and just 3 goals allowed as both Craig Anderson and Tomas Voukon rebounded with solid games after a shaky Game 2.  I don’t think we will be back on the OVER in that series, as when Craig Anderson is playing well not much gets by him.

Below I’ve locked in a 4th pick for this week, and I’ve got a small write up for tonight’s pick.

2 UNIT = Chicago Blackhawks @ Detroit Red Wings – BLACKHAWKS TO WIN (-130)
(Note: I’m risking 2.00 units to win 1.54 units)

The Red Wings surprised everyone out playing the Blackhawks in Chicago on Saturday and winning 4-1.  The Blackhawks will now head into Detroit looking for at least a split in Games 3 and 4.  Chicago is 19-4-3 on the season on the road, including going 1-1 in Minnesota, with the loss being a 3-2 overtime loss where they outshot Minnesota 37-27.  Chicago has already beaten Detroit 2-1 and 7-1 in Detroit this year, and they are now 5-1 against the Red Wings this season.  I’ll lay a bit of chalk and go with the Blackhawks to bounce back with a much better effort and win Game 3 to go up 2-1.

2 UNIT = Boston Bruins @ New York Rangers – BRUINS TO WIN (+125)
(Note: I’m risking 2.00 units to win 2.50 units)

2 UNIT = Los Angeles Kings @ San Jose Sharks – SHARKS TO WIN (-129)
(Note: I’m risking 2.00 units to win 1.55 units)

*ADDED* 2 UNIT = Pittsburgh Penguins @ Ottawa Senators – SENATORS TO WIN (+129)
(Note: I’m risking 2.00 units to win 2.58 units)
