NHL Picks for April 13th

Here we go with the first night of 2011 NHL playoff games.  The regular season was very profitable for a 27.45% ROI and I hope I can keep this rolling into the playoffs.

If you didn’t see my post yesterday I am putting 3 units on the Lightning to beat the Penguins in the series at +130.  That is my only 1st round series play.

We have 5 NHL games on board tonight and my pick is below… We have an exclusive play going at SportsPicksKing.com so I only have one play for tonight here.

NHL Betting Picks for Wednesday, April 13th:

New York Rangers @ Washington Capitals – OVER 5 GOALS (-120)

Despite switching to a more defensive style of play the Capitals still averaged a respectable 2.98 goals per game at home this season.  Over their last 5 games to finish the regular season the Caps averaged 3.20 goals per game, while the Rangers averaged 2.80 goals per game and 3.20 goals against per game.  The Caps get a boost offensively with Mike Green expected  to return from injury here in Game 1.  Green who had 5 PPGs in 49 games played this season should boost Washington’s powerplay which is sitting at 18.6% at home this season.  The OVER is 3-1 this season between these two teams, which includes three totals of 5.5 and one set at 6.  The OVER is also 5-2-1 in these two teams last 8 meetings overall.  I think we have a generous total set at 5 tonight in Game 1 between the Rangers and Caps and I’m on the OVER.

Good Luck tonight and join us for all NHL playoff plays at SportsPicksKing.com!
