Last night we missed the GOW play with the UNDER in the Bruins/Canadiens game. It looked like a push was likely until Subban scored with just a few minutes left forcing overtime. Tough play there and rare to see a GOW pick as a loser lately.
Fortunately it was a profiting night as our 3 unit series play on the Lightning (see the post) cashed in with a 1-0 Game 7 win. Congrats to those who followed that play.
Everyone on the email list knows this if they checked their emails, but I had a really crappy night last night as during my own hockey game some thieves broke into our dressing room and stole thousands of dollars worth of property. There were cameras at the rink so we are hoping we got them on camera, but not sure that will do much anyways.
Two plays here tonight, and then I will have another series play (possibly two) coming tomorrow.
NHL Betting Picks for Thursday, April 28th:
The Nashville Predators upset the Ducks in 6 games in their first round, and have enjoyed a handful of days to rest and prepare for their next series. Vancouver went up 3-0 on the defending Stanley Cup champs, but lost three straight games and had to win in overtime at home in game seven to advance to the second round. These two teams have met four times this season and they split the four games with two wins a piece. Each team won at home and on the road in their four meetings and all four meetings went UNDER the posted total with totals of 3, 4, 3 and 4. Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne had a 1.26 GAA and a .962 SV % vs the Canucks this season. Rinne and Luongo had similar numbers this season, as Rinne had a 2.22 GAA and Luongo had a 2.18 GAA (both had .926 SV%). Nashville has played solid playoff hockey thus far, getting scoring from 12 different players in the first round. With the extra two days rest we can expect the Predators to be prepared for the Canucks. Vancouver has had their ups and downs throughout the past two weeks and it will be hard for them to be fully prepared for tonight’s game with only one day off. I think we have found some good value on the Predators tonight, who deserve to be the underdogs in Vancouver but not at this price in Game 1. I also think we can expect to see the low scoring games we saw between these two teams during the regular season with two Vezina Trophy finalists between the pipes. Take the PREDATORS on the moneyline and the UNDER tonight.
