NHL Picks for February 20th

We had a split last night with our picks and go 1-1.  The Kings played poor defensively and dropped a 3-0 decision to the Islanders.  Fortunately I was spot on with my UNDER pick for the Sens/Leafs game.  The game finished 1-0 with the only goal coming in the shooutout – nicer easy winner there.

I had a huge play for our Sports Picks King system last night which was the OVER in the Ducks/Blues game.  The over/under was actually set at 5 goals instead of 5.5 and me and the system loved that play.  The pick was a winner 16 minutes into the game and the game finished 9-3 (12 goals scored)!  That’s is two straight big NHL winners since I’ve been back from vacation for the sytem… click here to check it out.

A lot of early games today, and of course the Heritage Classic.  Only one pick for today and it goes at 12:30 PM EST so get your bets in!

NHL Betting Picks for Sunday, February 20th:

Detroit Red Wings @ Minnesota Wild – OVER 5.5 GOALS (+115) – The Red Wings have been on quite the tear in their last 5 games, winning 4 of them and averaging 4.20 goals per game.  Detroit has gotten a lot of their players back from injury and are playing the type of hockey you can expect from them when they are healthy.  After dropping two straight games the Wild bounced back with a 5-1 win Friday night against Anaheim.  Both teams had the night off Saturday night and should be ready to go for tonight’s game.  The Red Wings average 3.4 goals per game on the season (3.31 on the road).  The OVER is 4-0 in the Wings last 4 games and 5-1 in their last 6 road games.  Also note that the OVER is 7-3 in their last 10 road game vs a team with a winning record.  Although the Wild have been playing the under as of late, the OVER is 5-1 in these two teams last 6 meetings.  Grab the value on the OVER this afternoon.

The Sports Picks King system has an NHL play going today in the 3:30 PM EST game between the Pens/Blackhawks… click here to get it.

  1. Hello! what do you think about Calgary, can they beat Montreal? I think they will be very motivated playing in front of 40 000 people and Flames in good form lately.

  2. Hey Kevin, Thanks for posting your vacation photo and making us all jealous! But seriously, you look to have a beautiful girlfriend and are a lucky man my friend, keep it up. I myself am going to Costa Rica for the first time at the end of March and am looking forward to that, but in the mean time…any thoughts on the Penguins @ the Blackhawks today? Chicago is HUGE chalk, is there any value here? Thanks and all the best!

  3. Haha thanks Mark… Costa Rica should be awesome, never been there. I do like the Blackhawks to get it done today, but I am not touching that line (I don’t think there is any value in it). Good Luck!

@Goran – I like Calgary if they were playing at their normal rink. Outdoor games are too hard to predict.

  4. Hey Ben, yeah it’s worth joining up – the system has been killing it in the NHL (with my help). We have a play on Pittsburgh/Chicago UNDER 5.5 this afternoon.
