NHL Picks for March 28th

First off just wanted to talk about how awesome of a weekend we had…

Thursday = Game of the Week (GOW) WINNER
Friday = Off, but gave you a play that won
Saturday = Game of the Month (GOM) WINNER + 3 for 3 including a big +160 underdog

Sunday = No NHL picks, but I sent you guys an email Wednesday with Steve’s PGA picks and he hit the 38 to 1 pick on Martin Laird to outright win the tournament! I know some of you guys followed that pick – congrats čÖé

Huge pay day this past weekend, lets keep it rolling. Oh and if you weren’t in on it you will want to click here to sign up to get it on everything in the coming weeks.

Only two games on the NHL betting board and I have one play for ya.

NHL Betting Picks for Monday, March 28th:

Chicago Blackhawks @ Detroit Red Wings – UNDER 5.5 GOALS (+105) – Huge game for the Blackhawks tonight, who sit just 1 point up on 9th place Flames and 2 points up on the 10th place Stars in the Western Conference playoff race. ┬áChicago is off of a 2-1 home loss to the Ducks on Saturday night, which dropped them below the Ducks in the standings. ┬áThe Red Wings had dropped three games heading into Saturday’s meeting with the Maple Leafs, but came out with a 4-2 victory to snap their mini losing streak. ┬áUnfortunately for the Wings, starting netminder Jimmy Howard was injured in the third period. ┬áTonight we will se Joey MacDonald in net who is 5-4-2 on the season with a 2.05 GAA and 0.928 SV%. ┬áNote that the UNDER is 4-0 in the Blackhawks last 4 games, and 4-2 in the Red Wings last 6 games overall. ┬áThe UNDER is 6-1 in the Red Wings last 7 vs a team with a winning record, and 5-1 in their last 6 vs Western Conference opponents. ┬áThe UNDER is also 10-4 in their last 14 home games overall. ┬áNote that the UNDER has hit in these two teams last 4 meetings, and is 5-1 in their last 6 meetings in Detroit. ┬áI like the UNDER again here tonight.

  1. Hey Kevin,

I like the Hawks to win this game outright tonight but for some reason I’m feeling an over with MacDonald in nets. I see the Hawks putting up 4 or 5 goals tonight and winning like 4-2.

  2. Kev,

you’ve been riding the ducks for how long now, now ur telling me tonight ur not gona stick with them?

  3. @Tyler – nah that wasn’t a system play, but I did think long and hard about that as a play here (one of my GOWs was the OVER in their last meeting where the Ducks won 6-2). I didn’t pull the trigger because of how well Emery has been playing.

Our system has the Ducks -1.5 … Lets see if it holds up here at 5-3
