NHL Picks for May 25th (Bruins vs Lightning Game 6)

I couldn’t cash in on the OVER last night between the Sharks/Canucks.  The Sharks threw a ton of picks at Luongo but could only get two by him.  Vancouver tied it up at 2’s late, and went on to win on a fluke goal in the second overtime.

Tonight we have Game 6 between the Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning.  I have a pending 3 unit series play on the Bruins to win, and are hopeful that they wrap things up tonight.

If you want in on my exclusive Game of the Week/Month (GOW/GOM) Picks just click here to sign up for free.  I will most likely have a GOW size play coming very soon.

Because of my pending 3 unit series play on Boston I don’t have a pick on a side tonight as I will just ride that out, but I am playing the total.

Boston Bruins @ Tampa Bay Lightning – OVER 5.5 GOALS (+110)

Again I’m on the OVER between these two teams tonight. 3 of these two teams 5 games in this series have been over the posted total (with totals of 8, 11 and 7).  Note that the OVER is 5-2 in the Bruins last 7 games overall, and 4-1 in their last 5 games following a win.  The OVER is also 5-1-2 in the Lightning’s last 8 home games, and 6-0-1 in their last 7 after scoring 2 goals or less in their previous game.  The OVER is 5-2 in Tampa Bay’s last 7 games overall.  Tim Thomas has been hot and cold this series, allowing an average of 3.20 goals against.  Dwayne Roloson is expected to get the start tonight after being named the back up for Game 5.  Roloson was pulled in their Game 4 victory after allowing 3 first period goals, and loss his two previous starts before that.  I don’t think he has the confidence he had during the first two rounds of this postseason and wouldn’t be surprised if he was fighting the puck a bit here tonight.  I’ll happily throw 1 unit on the OVER tonight, and also hope for my 3 unit series cash as well.

Good Luck Tonight Guys!

Also props to my friend from the UK who got his Spread Betting site going.  He is trying to teach me the ins and outs of spread betting (but I think my focus is going to stick with sports betting).
